Aref is a series of documentary films produced by the Bibliotheca Alexandrina. It addresses various aspects of cultural and natural heritage in Egypt and around the world in an unconventional perspective targeting young people. The series provides professional visual content that applies 3D graphics to narrate stories about various kinds of Egyptian heritage and adopts a smooth, concise scientific approach that fosters a strong sense of Egyptian identity. The films attempt to disseminate knowledge among all segments of society, regardless of viewers’ different interests and cultural and linguistic knowledge. The videos are available in Arabic, with English and French subtitles.
