The Bibliotheca Alexandrina is hosting a one-day seminar on ‘Egypt’s Population in the Twentieth Century”, a book published recently by the Demographic Center in Cairo. The book is an analytical study of population growth in Egypt and the strategies and population policies enacted in Egypt throughout the twentieth century. The seminar, which will take place in the Auditorium in the Entrance of the Library at 11:00 am, is part of the fortieth anniversary celebration of the Demographic Center.
