Sense and Sensibility narrates the story of Mr. Dashwood’s wife and three daughters, following his death they were dismayed to learn about their inheritance, and that the bulk of the Estate of Norland Park left to his son John from a previous marriage, but these circumstances make them struggle to find romantic fulfillment in a society obsessed with financial and social status; they must learn to mix sense with sensibility in their dealings with both money and men.
