“Philosophical Basis of Contemporary Struggles” is the first seminar of the Religions and Philosophy Committee in the Bibliotheca Alexandrina. The seminar will present contributions from several specialists in fields of philosophy, law and human rights. Dr. Anwar Mugheeth, Professor of Philosophy in the University of Helwan will be among the speakers. Dr. Nour Farahat, Dean of Faculty of Law and former UN advisor on human rights will talk about “Human Rights in a Changing World”. Dr. Yasser Konsowa from Faculty of Arts, University of Tanta, will present “New Liberalism: Dream Against Reality”. The seminar will be held in the Library’s Conferences Center in the Middle Hall at 6:00 p.m.
