The Queen of the Night tries to strike the Temple to release her daughter Pamina, with the help of Monastatos. However, a sudden storm accompanied by lightening turns them helpless. At the end, light banishes darkness, and Tamino and Pamina gather after they proved their love for each others.
The opera is in two acts composed by Wolfgang Mozart to a libretto by Emanuel Schikanaeder.
