The Center for Special Studies and Programs at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina is hosting a conference on ‘Understanding Progress in Different World Cultures’,20-22 March, in cooperation with the Goethe Institute in Alexandria and the German Development Association.

The three-day conference will pose questions about the definition of progress in the Arab World and whether it is only limited to the technological aspect. The conference will be held in the Auditorium on the Entrance level of the Main Library. Attendance is for free.
