The Bibliotheca Alexandrina is hosting the one-day "Fifth Annual Regional Urban Conference". The conference is organized by the Planning & Urbanization Studies Center in Cairo. As urbanization is the mirror to economic, social, legislative and organizational developments in any society, the conference aims to bring to light the progress achieved in Egypt in all those different fields. Participants will aim to discuss the problems facing urbanization, as well as the materialistic elements involved in order to achieve the most efficient kind of urbanization within the frame of an environment- friendly process.
The Fifth Annual Regional Urban Conference will be accompanied by an exhibition under the auspices of the "Alexandria Real Estate Company" and the "Real Estate Section in the Chamber of Commerce ." Attendence will include professors from both the Engineering and the Fine Arts Faculties at the Alexandria University
