Within the framework of the Deutches Festival, which is held under the title of “Germany Meets Egypt, Culture and Dialogue”, and organized by the Goethe Institute in Cairo and Alexandria, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina is hosting a number of cultural activities. The duet entitled “The Guitar Meets the Lute” between the German Guitarist Ansgar Krause and the Iraqi Lute player Nassir Shamma will take place at the BA on 11 October, 8:00 pm.
