The Calligraphy Center is hosting Dr. Hassan Al Saadi, Professor of History, Egyptian and Islamic Archeology, Faculty of Arts, Alexandria University, to give a seminar on the negative and avoided patterns of behavior in Pharaonic Egypt. In an attempt to evaluate social values and norms at the time, Prof. Al Saadi uses ancient texts about incidents of treason, robbery and bribery, as evidence to how positive values were encouraged in opposition to negative ones.
