The lecture is organized in remembrance of the Argentinean Author Jorge Luis Borges, one of the most famous Argentinean writers of all time, and whose literature is an invitation to discover a secret world. The lecture is given by Dr. Santiago De Luca, PhD in Humanities from the University of Complutense in Madrid, and currently collaborating with the Jorge Luis Borges International Foundation.

De Luca will shed light on the different and main symbols which constitute the writings and literary thoughts of Borges, focusing on one of his “invisible” but present elements: silence.

The lecture is in English and accompanied by simultaneous interpretation into Arabic.
