This lecture will discuss several issues, most importantly whether sole priority should be given to issues of economic recovery and restoring growth and operations or if there is enough scope to discuss issues related to the economic model as a whole, especially cases of social justice, distribution and re-distribution, the role of the state in the economy, as well as other issues that were raised during the revolution and afterwards.
The lecture will be given by Dr. Amr Adly, a teacher of Economics at the American University in Cairo (AUC).
