The BA Sinnari House (Cairo) is organizing a four-day celebration on the occasion of the International Migrants Day, which was announced by the United Nations General Assembly on 4 December 2008, and will be celebrated annually on 18 December, taking into consideration the growing number of migrants around the world.

The Celebration will revolve around Syrian antiquities – an invaluable heritage that is being destroyed due to the ongoing war in Syria. The program will include a photography exhibition of Syrian antiquities on the first day, followed by two seminars: the first of which is titled “Syrian Antiquities Before and After the Crisis” by Dr. Hossam Ismail and Dr. Walid Al Akhras; the second seminar titled “Syrian Antiquities: A New Prespective” will be presented by Dr. Adel Ziada, followed by a gourmet break to experience Syrian cuisine (Food from the Heart of Syria) featuring traditional Syrian music. In addition to that, singer Abdelkader el Dayeh, along with musician Kadry Dalal, will perform traditional Syrian songs.

An Ugaritic alphabet workshop will be held on 22 December 2014, besides a storytelling show titled Maqam Ibrahim Wasfyah (The Standing Place of Abraham Wasfyah) from Syrian heritage revolving around Sultan Baibars.
