WSIS Pre-Summit conference

In preparation for the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) conference, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina is hosting the WSIS Pre-Summit conference, organized by the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA). The first phase of the WSIS was held in Geneva, December 2003 and its second phase will be held in Tunis, 16-18 November 2005.

The WSIS Pre-Summit conference's theme is "Libraries—the Information Society in Action", and it will present some of the best practices from libraries around the world.
