Within the bicentenary celebration of Hans Christian Andersen (HCA), the Bibliotheca Alexandrina is hosting an exhibition about the great Danish writer (1805–1875), in collaboration with the Thorvaldsen’s Museum, Hans Christian Andersen 2005 Association, UNESCO and the Ministry of Education in Denmark. The exhibition will display a selected assortment of Andersen’s diaries exploring the main events of his life.
The celebrations will be held on Tuesday 6 December 2005,

13:30: Lunch hosted by Dr. Ismail Serageldin at the BA Hilton Restaurant
