The Bibliotheca Alexandrina in collaboration with the Greek Delphic Association, the French Delphic Association and the Union of Asia Minor of Alexandria, is organizing a three-day seminar entitled “KABAΦEIA (Kavafeia) 2005” in honor of one of the most prominent Greek poets, Constantine Cavafy.
The event features a graphics exhibition by Massin; the theatrical play “I, François Villon”; and a concert at the Opera House of Alexandria by the Greek conductor, Stavros Xharhakos.
Georges Moustaki, Alexandrian-born French singer, will be attending the event and will talk of his Alexandrian background that inspired his music and songs.
