The Bibliotheca Alexandrina is hosting a conference, commemorating the centennial of the death of Sheikh Mohamed Abdu, that will shed light on the late Sheikh’s life, his concerns, and his ideas on the renewal of Islamic discourse. It will bring together speakers from Algeria, Egypt, Lebanon, Mauritania, Tunisia and UAE.
