The Bibliotheca Alexandrina is organizing a lecture by the Spanish diplomat, historian and researcher, Mr. Pablo de Jevenois, in cooperation with the Instituto Cervantes, about the legend of the destruction of the Great Library of Alexandria by the Arabs. The lecture will shed light on the historical facts and forgeries concerning this famed Alexandrian institution.
