The Bibliotheca Alexandrina is organizing a three-day cinema program celebrating the centenary of Chinese cinema. Two films from China and one from Zaire will be screened.
The program is as follows:
Sunday, 23 October: "Life on a String"
Directed by Chen Kaige (China; 1991).
Monday, 24 October: "Those Left Behind"
Directed by Hu Xue Yang (China; 1992).
Tuesday, 25 October: "The King, the Cow and the Banana Tree"
Directed by Mweze D. Ngangoura (Zaire; 1994)
