A non-profit one-day music festival is held at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA) calling for peace and an end to violence and terrorism. Entitled "Sama Hoss Eskandarani", it is organized by a group of volunteers, not affiliated to any religious or political party, and will include performances by several bands including Basheer, Consperience, Daad aleha Shadda, Nagham Masry, Nomaira, Rahala (Hossam Shaker) and Ressala.
