The Euro-American SOHO spacecraft has been studying the Sun from space for over 10 years. SOHO has taken numerous images of the Sun, and made outstanding discoveries about the Sun. The lecture is a virtual exploration of the Sun, our mother star, through the exquisite images of SOHO. We will learn about its size, structure, how it produces energy, the instruments and technology with which SOHO studied the Sun.
