The BA Alexandria and Mediterranean Research Center, in cooperation with the Consulate-General of Greece in Alexandria, the Hellenistic Institute of Culture, and the BA Art Exhibitions and Collections Department, is organizing a photography exhibition and book presentation for Alexander the Great: Tracing His Path 2300 Years Later by Greek writer Dr. Simoni A. Zafiropoulou.
The book traces Alexander the Great’s path through Egypt, Persia, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, and Kabul 2300 years later by documenting the heritage he left behind in those locations, and discussing how he has set an example for bravery, wisdom and heroism.
