As a part of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina’s effort to raise the environmental awareness of university students, the BA is organizing a scientific discussion with university students chaired by Dr. Salah Soliman, BA Advisor and Chemistry professor, Alexandria University. The discussion will include scientific presentation about the Radon gas, its sources, and the ways of dealing with it. The dangers of radon gas arise from its amount and concentration in air, as well as the period of time the person is exposed to it. Radon gas is a product of the decomposition of Uranium.
