As a part of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina’s effort to raise the environmental awareness of university students, the BA is organizing a scientific discussion with university students chaired by Dr. Salah Soliman, BA Advisor and Chemistry professor, Alexandria University. The discussion will focus on the sources and hazards of the Dioxins. Dioxins are toxic materials which are being formed as a by-product in consumption processes. Studies show that dioxins have many sources and cause cancer, reduces immune-defense, gives gene- and hormone disturbances, embryo damage and other serious harm.
