This lecture will answer several questions concerning education in ancient Egypt, such as the following: Who had a right to an education? Is it true that priests were the only educated people in ancient Egypt? Were there schools and universities such as the ones we have today? Were there different means of education other than schools? What did children learn? And was an educated person more fortunate in his professional life than others?

The lecture will be delivered by Gihan Nabil Zaki, a researcher of heritage.
