Within the framework of the Resident Scholar Program, organized by the Manuscript Cente, an affiliate to the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, a series of lectures will be given by Professor Abdullah Yousif AlGhounaim, who is a leading scholar in the geomorphology of the Arabian Peninsula and an eminent historian of medieval Arabic geographical thought.
The lecture is entitled "Earthquakes in the Arab Heritage". It defines earthquakes as a natural phenomenon in the Arab heritage and sheds light on the most important earthquake incidents in our history.
