The BA, in cooperation with the Intergovernmental Panel for Climate Change (IPCC) and the Egyptian International Center for Agriculture (EICA), will organize on 10 April 2007, regional briefings for the press by Prof. Mostafa Tolba, Former Executive Director of the United Nations Environment Program.
This briefing (including a video conference) provides a comprehensive analysis of how climate change affects natural and human systems, what the impacts will be in the future, and how far adaptation and mitigation can reduce these impacts.
The regional press briefing for the North Africa, the Sahara, and the Middle East Region will focus on the climate change in order to explore in depth information about this region.
