With the support of the French Embassy in Egypt, the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, International Federation of Television Archives (FIAT/IFTA), Permanant Conference of Mediterranean Audiovisual Operators (COPEAM) and Centre Méditérranéen de la Communication Audiovisuelle (CMCA)
The seminar objectives are :
- Promoting the audiovisual heritage in the Middle East and Mediterranean countries.
- Federating regional initiatives related to the digitisation and use of audiovisual archives.
- Sharing the state of the art in the field of preservation and digitisation of audiovisual archives.
- Assessing the impact of digital technologies on preservation and access practices, and management issues
Working languages will be Arabic, English and French with simultaneous translation.
