With several thinkers and scholars participating, the Conference aims at an objective reading of renewal and reform projects in the Islamic world during the last two centuries, through the contribution of their owners, without any relation to a certain age.
The Conference aspires to re-read the works of pioneers and their reform and renewal projects, as well as identifying contemporary influences on trends, systems and legislations, in an effort to create a new contemporary reform project and to renew the current Islamic thinking by activating its potentials, discovering strong points to trigger and pinpointing week aspects to strengthen.
