The United Nations in Egypt and the National Council for Childhood and Motherhood will be launching their annual campaign for the third year "Sailing the Nile for the Millennium Development Goals 2008".
The 2008 edition of Sailing the Nile has two main objectives: to raise awareness on the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) eight years after the Millennium Declaration; and to enhance civil society participation in efforts to achieve the MDGs through volunteerism.
