The BA Antiquities Museum organizes a lecture entitled “Ipuy Tomb and its Relation to the Ancient Egyptian Medicine” on Monday, 19 August 2019 at 1.00 pm in the BA Main Entrance Auditorium. The lecture is delivered by Dr. Mahmoud ElMohamdy Abd El Hady Salama, PhD in Tourism Guidance, Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, Mansoura University.
The lecture revolves around the tomb of the artist Ipuy, which is located on the Western Bank of Luxor, specifically in Dier Al-Madina area, under the number 217. This tomb is famous for its scenes that demonstrate the multifarious sculpture work done by its owner Ipuy.
