The BA Center of Francophone Activities organizes its annual conference to celebrate the International Francophonie Day”, under the title “Towards a Virtual World: From Digitalization to Metaverse.”
The conference highlights the scientific and technological development in various fields, most notably in culture and education, health and innovation, trade and industry, environments and risks.
A host of Francophone ambassadors and consuls, together with experts, scientists, and people engaged in these domains, are expected to take part in the event, either in person or via videoconferencing. Their aim is to introduce the metaverse technology, that makes people feel more present in the virtual world, and less present in the real world, and how this technology might affect their everyday life.
