The BA Antiquities Museum, in cooperation with the Royal Jewelry Museum, is organizing a training course entitled “Civilization Ambassadors… Skills and Requirements”, from 4 – 11 July 2023, in the Auditorium Hall, BA Main Entrance.
The training course aims to qualify around 70 graduates (maximum) from the Faculty of Archeology, the Faculty of Arts (Departments of Archeology and History) and the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels for the labor market in the field of tourism and archeology, such as museums and various archaeological sites, by developing their practical and personal abilities, and helping them acquire new skills to keep pace with the times.
The training includes a number of lectures delivered by a distinguished group of specialists in the field of archeology and tourism, as well as in the field of training and skills development, in addition to workshops and field trips to various archaeological sites and museums. At the end of the course, trainees are expected to present a small project tackling a museum, an archaeological site or a tourist facility, with the aim of marketing it. Projects submitted by the trainees will be discussed after their completion on Sunday, 16 July 2023.
