The Arab Network for Women in Science and Technology (ANWST) is set up at the Gulf University, Bahrain. Dr. Rafia Ghubash has expressed her wish, as President of ANWIST, to relocate the Secretariat of the network to the BA to be working under the umbrella of the UNESCO Cairo office and the Academy of Sciences for the Developing World (TWAS).
