This lecture, which will be given by Dr. Penny Wilson, Durham University, United Kingdom, will highlight the importance of the Egyptian Delta during the Hellenistic and Roman periods. It will also cover the economic importance of the region and its relationship with Alexandria.
It is important to mention that the British mission has worked on the Delta Survey project since 2002 and has documented over 1000 sites.
