The BA Sinnari House (Cairo) is organizing a book signing event for the novel Kiria by Marwa Mazloum, a journalist at Rosa el-Youssef daily newspaper who has previously published a story collection titled Sandook Bareed el-Kamar (The Moon’s Mailbox). Kiria is her second work and was published in January 2015.The book revolves around a young Egyptian man who has concluded his studies at a university in London majoring in nuclear engineering only to be chased by intelligence services attempting to capture him and accuse him of a crime he did not commit. He flees back to Cairo and is shocked at how much society has changed since he left.
