The Planetarium and Science Museum Center at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina is hosting the Second Sciences Day at the Exploratorium. The Center hosts Mr. Denier Savois, Director of the "Palais de la Decouverte" in Paris, to give a seminar on "Science in the School: from the Theoretical to the Practical." The event brings together representatives of the Egyptian Ministry of Education, the Alexandria Research Center, the National Museum of Alexandria and the French Cultural Center in Cairo, as well as teachers from both private and public schools.
This one-day workshop aims at evaluating the results of teaching sciences to children through practical scientific experiments and workshops. It is also an opportunity for all the participants to exchange their opinions and experiences on the best techniques to teach science to children.
