The Arts Center at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina hosts the First International Biennale for Hand Printed Artists' Books, 22 April and throughout May 2004. The Biennale is preceded by several graphic workshops that are carried out by artists from Egypt, Italy and Sweden. The Biennal also hosts an international seminar, entitled "Artists' Books and Modern Art."
