The Calligraphy Center at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina presents a seminar on the "History of Arabic Calligraphy." Presented by Prof. Abdel Fattah Ghoneima, Professor of History of Sciences, University of Alexandria, the seminar will touch upon the development of Arabic calligraphy since the beginning of Islam to the end of the Ummayid period.
