The Bibliotheca Alexandrina and the Waltari Society present two lectures and a discussion session on the occasion of opening the Mika Waltari Exhibition. Prof. Panu Rajala, Head of the Waltari society and researcher of Finnish literature, will present a lecture entitled "Mika Waltari- a Writer between West and Byzant." The second lecture, "Mika Waltari - the Egyptian- Taha Hussein's Point of View," will be presented by Mr. Farouk Abu Shakra, Professor at the Arabic Studies Department at the University of Helsinki, Finland.
The inauguration of the exhibition will be held at 11:30 am in the Auditorium at the Main Library Entrance.
