The lecture will feature Marika Hedemyr, who will present a useful model on how to develop your perception, gain a deeper understanding of a dance performance, and how to talk about dancing.
Marika Hedemyr is a professional choreographer, dancer and dance lecturer in contemporary dance, educated at Laban Center, London. In spring 2000, she returned to Sweden and started the Crowd Company. The company style is a mixture of contemporary dance and physical theater, their tenth production, Moving Fields, premiered in March 2004 and will be presented during the Creative Forum for Independent Theater Groups.
