The Francophone Activities Center is organizing a lecture titled “The Image of Egypt According to Voltaire and the Enlightenment Thinkers” as part of the celebration of Voltaire’s 320th birthday (1694–1778). The lecture will be given by Dr. Mohamed Kurdy, a professor of French civilization at the Faculty of Arts, Alexandria University.
