The Bibliotheca Alexandrina is hosting a conference organized by the Mansour Manufacturing & Distribution Group, in cooperation with the United Nations and Akhbar El Youm Foundation. The conference will tackle the development of the Global Compact applications in Egypt since it was launched by the UN Secretary General and Egypt's joining in February 2004. It will also tackle how the Egyptian corporations and companies are committed to the Global Compact's ten principles. The second session will discuss a case study on the Mansour Manufacturing & Distribution Group in adhering to the Global Compact's principles in the internal activities, local and international practices and the plans to support these principles through future practices.
