This documentary depicts the effort made by an Egyptian expedition to search the Nile and its banks for submerged ports and sunken ships. The expedition focused on Aswan and Gebel el-Silsila, where granite and sandstone quarries are located. These materials were transported northward and used to build temples, huge edifices, obelisks, and statues. The film also shows the attempts of a French expedition, led by archaeologist Philip Martinez and Kevin Cane, to understand former methods of cutting and transferring stones. Dr. Mohamed Mostafa, Supervisor of the Department of Underwater Antiquities and Scientific Supervisor of the Maritime and Underwater Cultural Heritage Center at the Faculty of Arts, Alexandria University, will be commenting on and explaining the film.

The documentary was produced by French TV in 2008.
