This event will be held on the occasion of the anniversary of the invention of the Dewey Decimal System. It will include a lecture about Melvil Dewey’s life and an introduction to his decimal system and its use in modern libraries. The lecture will be presented by Dr. Ahmed Saad Eldin Bassiouny, PhD in Library Classification and Arabic Indexing Specialist at the BA.
