As part of the Shakespeare's Globe Theater's worldwide tour, the BA is set to host Hamlet theatrical performance—for one night only—which is considered an unprecedented theatrical adventure, directed by Dominic Dromgoole.
The Globe’s worldwide tour began on 23 April 2014, which happens to be the 450th anniversary of Shakespeare’s birth. They will be performing on different stages in more than two hundred countries around the world for two whole years.
Regarded as the fullest expression of Shakespeare's genius, Hamlet is one of his chefs d'oeuvre—a colossus in the history of the English language—that encompasses his foremost sonnets, and depicts political intrigue, emotional obsession, philosophical reflection, and violent action.
