The Bibliotheca Alexandrina is hosting the Citizen Based Investment Competition (CBI) organized by Ashoka and the Entrepreneurs' Business Forum (EBF).
The event aims to introduce Ashoka's Business plan to NGOs and businesses in Alexandria in order to encourage NGOs to partake in the competition, and to spread awareness among businesses about the need to contribute in bridging the gap between the business sector and the social sector to add to Egypt's economic development.
Speakers include Ms. Iman Bibars, Regional Director of Ashoka in the Arab World, and Mr. Amr El Abd, Chairman of EBF, as well as a number of Alexandria-based businessmen who will share with the audience their experience regarding corporate social responsibility.
