The International Friends of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina will be holding their Eighth Annual Meeting, 8-9 December. The theme of the meeting will be ‘Partnerships for Sustainability’, and the Friends will discuss “Specific Programs and Projects for Excellence in the Library” and “Strategies for the International Friends”.
The meeting will also include a Poetry Reading session, a short film on the library, and a lecture by Mr. Raymond Lonfat, founder of the Fondation des Archives Historiques de L’Abbaye de Saint Maurice, in which he will present this great Swiss Foundation to all present.
