This seminar will be held within the framework of World Heritage Day to explain the process of saving the Abu Simbel Temples and to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the event. The seminar will explain the process of moving the temples to salvage them and will also include an introduction to the Abu Simbel 50 Initiative. The lecture will be delivered by Hamdy al-Sotouhy, Founder of the Initiative and designer of the Abu Simbel Museum.
