As a part of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina’s effort to raise the environmental awareness of university students, the BA is organizing a scientific discussion with university students chaired by Dr. Salah Soliman, BA Advisor and Chemistry professor, Alexandria University. The discussion will focus on waste incinerators, incinerator ash, and incinerator emissions. Waste incinerators emit chemicals that are toxic to the environment. Thus the discussion will focus on the international restrictions for the use of these incinerators and their alternatives.
