As a part of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina’s effort to raise the environmental awareness of university students, the BA is organizing a scientific discussion with university students chaired by Dr. Salah Soliman, BA Advisor and Chemistry professor, Alexandria University. The discussion will focus on the problems of solid wastes in cities. The spreading of the solid wastes in cities and the improper ways of dealing with it either during its production, collection, transportation or disposal process leads to health and environmental damage. Thus the discussion will explore the global ways for minimizing the effects and hazards of this problem.
